Open Position: Transaction Coordinator, Todd Henon Properties

Opportunity to join the established Top 1% Chattanooga-based real estate team, serving TN, GA, and AL for 3 decades. We are seeking a driven transaction coordinator to manage contracts throughout the entire home selling and buying process. Team Member is responsible for overseeing transactions from start to finish to ensure offers and contracts are approved for a smooth and successful sale. Our ideal candidate is extremely organized and has superb customer service skills to make customers feel at ease.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as liaison between real estate agents, clients, attorneys, escrow companies, and mortgage brokers during the process of a real estate sale and effectively manage the administrative tasks involved in closing a property.
  • Manage and oversee the entire transaction process from contract to closing.
  • Manage timelines and follow up with individuals as needed to ensure all deadlines are met and contingencies are released.
  • Understand the terms of contracts in order to summarize all important terms, conditions, and contingency dates.
  • Communicate with Realtors several times throughout the transaction including all important dates, missing documents, calendar reminders, file compliance status, etc.
  • Keep Clients informed by communicating regularly to let them know what to expect in each step of the closing process.
  • Establish relationships with and be the first point of contact for all questions that arise throughout the closing process from Realtor (and Client, attorneys, lenders, appraisers, other transaction coordinators/Realtors, etc.).
  • Coordinate scheduling with all parties including inspections, appraisals, and closings.
  • Keep files (physical, DocuSign, and Dotloop) complete, accurate, and compliant throughout the transaction.
  • Draft any contract documentation as needed.
  • Assist Listing Team including compliance, drafting documentation, gathering signatures, and research for a complete and accurate property listing.
 


REQUIREMENTS
:

  • Previous experience in transaction management, transaction coordination, real estate, or similar industry required.
  • Real Estate license in TN and GA strongly preferred. If not licensed, agrees to pursue licensure within the first 30 days of employment, expenses paid by Todd Henon Properties.

  • Has remarkable communication skills, both verbal or written, that demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and care even in complex scenarios
  • Very comfortable with technology including Microsoft Office, GSuite, and experience with CRM or similar sales tracking system.



SCHEDULE
:

  • Full-time, in-office position
  • 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday
  • Includes weekend and weeknight phone and email monitoring on a rotating basis.
